If you are the spouse of the F1 Visa holder, then you cannot pursue a degree in the US with that type of Visa. If you are a dependent child of the F1 Visa holder, then yes you can go to school in the United States. That includes elementary, middle school and high school. If you want to continue your studies, then you must change your Visa status which isn’t difficult to do.
