Can you apply for a Green Card if you have the F1/F2 Visa?
If you are a F2 Visa holder and your F1 Visa holder gets a Green Card, then you also automatically get one. If not then you will have to change your Visa status first, for example the L1 Visa which allows dual intent and lets you apply for the Card. If you find a job while you are in America, then you can apply for the Employment Based Green Card.
