Is an undergraduate degree the same as a bachelor’s degree?

Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or, less typically, an associate’s degree) are referred to as undergraduates. Undergraduate degrees are commonly used to describe these programs. An undergraduate degree is known as a first degree outside of the United States. This means that, while an undergraduate degree is insufficient to get a bachelor’s degree, it can be utilized as a stepping stone.
