What are the main differences between a Master’s Degree and a Postgraduate Degree?

A master’s degree is a more advanced level of study. Full-time completion of a Masters degree takes one year, with courses totalling 180 credits. A postgraduate diploma, on the other hand, is completed over the course of two semesters and consists of 120 credit units. Postgraduate diplomas are only valid for one academic year, and modules are only worth 60 credits.
